So says Belgium midfield stalwart Steven Defour, currently looking at the exit door at FC Porto and looking for regular first team action to secure his World Cup place.
The player would love to come to the Premier League but currently feels that a move to the Bundesliga would be more likely.
Steven said "The Premier League is a great league, but I don't know whether it is realistic for a player who is not in Porto's starting line-up to get a transfer to England."
Back in 2009, the centre-midfielder expressed a preference to move to Aston Villa while plying his trade with Standard Liege and if Paul Lambert is scouring Europe for an experienced midfielder (40-odd international caps for the Red Devils), Defour could well fit the bill.
However it seems he'd prefer the lure of Germany. "Lovely stadiums, many people, great clubs and a competition at high level. But I do not know where my future lies."
Despite his lack of a regular first team berth, it's thought the Portuguese side would want around £7 million for the player's services.
